Event Planning & Management: Golf Outings

As an adjunct to event planning, I've had the opportunity to plan and assist in planning a couple golf outings. Golf outings are really fun, but hard work for sure. They take some serious dedication. Let's face it, these days, people/businesses don't want to part with their money, nor do they want to (or maybe they just feel guilty) golf on work time.

Nonetheless, they are still fun and supporting amazing causes just makes it worth it.

The upcoming Winfield Volunteer Fire Company Golf Outing is something that is near and dear to my husband's heart. He takes great pride in assisting in the planning of this with the Fire Department. (He's a Firefighter/Paramedic) I get to do all the fun stuff, like design the invites and help out on the day of!

Another outing that I recently planned from start to finish, with the assistance of a co-worker was for an organization called The Foundation for International Mental Health & Rehab. Dr. Renato De Los Santos heads up this amazing foundation which provides education and assistance to mental health patients and caregivers in the Phillipines. It was an honor to be asked to plan this event from start to finish and even though it POURED RAIN ALL DAY, we still had a great turnout and a lot of fun.

Event Planning, Styling: Taylor's Baby Shower

Elsy also loves to plan events from start to finish!

Taylor's Baby Shower was safari/jungle themed and all sorts of fun! Here are some of the designs and photos that brought it all together!

We started the theme with the invitation...
And everything else followed suit!
The thank you cards were attached to the cupcake favors! See photos below.

Weddings, Birth Announcements & Baptisms, OH MY!

Funny how it works, huh? The saying really is true, "First comes love, then comes marriage, then comes the baby in the baby carriage... and then the baptism?" Well, close enough.

Here are a few more of those fun projects that Elsy has had the privilege of creating.

This simple, yet elegant wedding invite was created for my father-in-law and new stepmother-in-law.

Another beautifully simple design was Ella Kate's Baptism. Mommy Kristen didn't want anything too fancy and loved the idea of the monogram "E" as the focal point. It turned out perfectly elegant, just like our little Ella Kate!

Another amazing Baptism invite for little Owen!
And, of course, my Mason's Baptismal invite!
I'm partial to this one, well, cause he's my baby boy!

Stay tuned, more to come - of course!
Elsy Design has been busy!

Elsy has been Facebooked!

I created an Elsy page on Facebook about a year and a half ago, when Elsy Design was born as a way to showcase and post my designs.

Now that I'm blogging about them, I felt like it was important to show just how much Elsy has designed!

As always, if you need something - contact me!

Elsy's Identity

I feel like I've grown since I came up with Elsy Designs, so a couple weeks ago I started playing around with my logo, my brand and my service lines. When I started, I only did invitation/paper design.  A couple years later and I'm finding myself doing websites, marketing, brand strategy, consulting and more, while still maintaining the paper, invitation, print & design business.

I felt like I needed to find a way to communicate all the services I provide in one fell swoop. So I decided to change the logo to incorporate all of these things.

Here is the NEW Elsy Design!

And, I've even made myself officially  official, with my first set of business cards!

So, what do you think?

Jen & Randy's Wedding Suite!

So, I've had the honor of doing lots of invitations, paper products, etc. for my friends and family. I'm especially proud of how this one turned out though. Here's my most recent project!

We started with the Save the Date!

Jen & Randy have a pretty cool story. Long story short, they were high school sweethearts who found each other more than 10 years later!

They're getting married September 28, 2012 and I get to be a part of their big wedding day. I absolutely cannot wait to see and feel the emotion on that day!

So onto their wedding suite!

I love how it all turned out!
Stay tuned for their day-of designs!
